Home Crush – Kitchen Inspiration

Home Crush – Kitchen Inspiration | alice & lois

Our latest post for the Home Crush series is all about the kitchen. I have been dreaming of a kitchen remodel and am loving all the inspiration we have gathered here. I’m loving the dark islands, beautiful rugs, statement seating pieces and the cleanliness of white. From backsplash to counter tops, and bar stools to rugs – there are so many wonderful elements to make include in the kitchen of your dreams! Check out some of our favorites below. And for more ideas be sure to head over to our Pinterest Home Sweet Home board!

Love the dark island contrast in this kitchen.

Dark island – Love how the contrast of the dark island bottom makes it pop against the light wood floors and white counter tops featured on Amber Interiors.

Grey and white – Loving the cool color combination of the grey cabinets and white subway tiles and counters. And can we talk about the amazing light fixture?! Such a beautiful kitchen found on kk.no.

Sliding door pantry – What is not to love about this kitchen?  Loving the unique and functional pantry doors. And the dark cabinets give a nice contrast to all of the natural wood elements in the room. This kitchen was featured on House & Home, photo by Angus Fergusson.

Open shelving – Love this kitchen design with natural wood open shelving from Studio McGee, photos by Travis J Photography. The black cabinets with brass handles pop again the vintage rug.

Statement seating – The wood and leather bar stools add such a bold statement in Simone Leblanc’s home on Mother Mag. Love the contrast between the leather and the stark white kitchen.
